schneida.com blog is BACK!!!

2009 was a mysterious season. The Schneida.com Softball Team of Greatness experienced everything from extraterrestrial hallucinations to 15 minutes of fame on the tv reality show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." Sadly, although the season was anything but forgettable, nothing was recorded. But we are back for 2010!

Here are some of the highlights from 2009 as I remember them:

1. Jason never once had his pants or shirt removed during a game.

2. Steph did.

3. Nate learned how to yodel. Finally.

4. Spunky broke a bat over her knee, then welded it back together for the next game. Then broke it again.

5. Doug was named third string d-league b-section division e coed all star third base coach of the year. Most thought he deserved second string.

6. Alisha thought happy thoughts, but she won't share.

7. Mike played half the season with what turned out to be a compound fracture of the femur and a prolonged case of spontaneous bouts of hydroplosion of the superior sagittal sinus sulcus and still hit .900.

8. Andrew tickled all of our fancies. We'll miss him.

9. Kim got from A to P in one belch.

10. Mallo parlayed her sentence until the end of the season. We'll miss her.

11. Krista helped us all appreciate zither rap.

12. Chris learned you can't grill frozen pizza. This knowledge has made all the difference.
